I had Kessler up 6-5-1 with eleventh round even. I just couldn't see who actually pulled ahead. Kessler scored heavy early then Froch late. I could have easily seen it the other way too.The fight that is.

It was a very competitive fight, I scored it 117-112 (One round even)Kessler watching it live, although I was scoring close rounds in favour of Kessler as I figured he would get the hometown benefit, so I can easily see 115-113 Kessler.
I don't think Froch did enough to win though, that's a really difficult one for me to argue even as a Froch fan, especially over in Denmark.
I do think though that Kessler left it all in the ring and Carl didn't. At times Kess looked exhausted and bloodied, put would come on regardless whilst Carl looked composed, confident, imperious even but frustratingly wasn't throwing.
If he would have thrown more I think Froch would have taken the fight, but it seemed to me that Kess, maybe spurred on by the crowd and the fact he knew his career was on the line seemed to want it more.
I can't blame Froch though. I mean that's his fourth tremendously hard fight in a row, each of which he has to go life and death in the championship rounds to get the win.
It must get harder every time and I don't envy him having to fight Artur Abraham next in another must win fight for both men.
I think because of his style, by the time this tourmanent his over so will be Froch's effective career.
He's been in some ring wars that's for sure and he may well be like a post world war 2 Germany by the end of 2011.
God I have never seen such a clear cut victory questioned so much. The fight was clearly Kesslers, hometown or not. He forced the action, threw more, and landed more. He clearly out fought Froch. 116-112 is right on the money. If one eyed Froch fans have it close then thats a good indication Kessler won it fairly easily.
