I watched this fight in it's entirety yesterday, and i GUESS, maybe, if it was in Nottingham Froch would've won, but I would've thought Kessler got screwed out of a great fight and win.. With Froch losing in Denmark, i don't feel that he got screwed. He didn't do anything. Kessler pushed the entire fight, he had his jab working, he controlled center of the ring, and i would say that they both landed close to equal amount of power shots.
But, I think Kesslers short right hand later in the fight, round 9 or 10ish stunned Froch and that that was the biggest blow of the fight. I'm not sure how Froch could really even want to say that he felt he should've won.. i'd be ashamed.. he didn't do ANYTHING! Kesslers pushed the fight, hit the body hard at the beginning, stunned Froch in later rounds = him winning the fight. I don't think you can make nearly as good of a case for Froch.
Those body shots he was landing on Froch from 1 - 5, the low straight rights were absolutely on the button, same spot nearly every time. That was a new thing for Froch for sure, nobody has worked his body like that before, definately kept him at bay. Froch's footwork is also some of the worst i've seen. I think Froch needs a very slow, almost stationary target to throw and land clean punches. His feet are either one down one up, both up lunging or too square to get full leverage on any punch. When he has his feet planted and lands with a straight right or something he looks decent, but for the best part he's way too square or off balance to be effective. IMO he might actually have a chance for a KO against AA due to AA lack of movement, but Dirrell and Ward will make him look a fool again all day.
