If an overweight and a well out of his division Marquez can manage this
then you bet your ass Mosley can land big enough to win by KO. It only takes one.

Ya Shane is old, but everyone out works Floyd in the ring so why should Shane be any different? Floyd always wants to prove that he is the technical master in the ring, I don't see him having a different approach in this fight. I just can't see Floyd doing enough damage to stop Shane from walking him down. Mayweather can't control the pace of the fight with his pot shots maintaining a distance outside and he can't overpower Mosley with his size. It'll be the same shit that happened with Dela Hoya, only Mosley will hit him now and then.

Im not getting excited about this cause this is going to be another Floyd Show case.....this is not going to be close and I can see Mosley getting stopped or retiring around the 10th...I don't know why people are talking about it so much cause Mosley is well over the hill and this is not going to be anything like people would like it to be. Hear it first "You all will be disappointed because this is going to be a shut out for PBF".
Job Biscuit (Another fight that should have happened years ago)!!!

Floyd takes it 8 rounds to 4. 116-112 for a UD.

Heart says Shane, head says Floyd... by around 4 rounds or so. I see it being pretty even up to around the midway point and then Floyd will start to pull away as he adapts.
Awesome fight though, we are having a great run as fans lately.![]()

So marquez did actually land a punch during the fight......i look at the fight the same way just in a different perspective. If mayorga, v forrest (twice), winky (twice), cotto, and collazo can give shane problems then floyd sure a hell will. This fight will be boring imo. Floyd will beat him easy. Very very true statement above, it does only take one, but it's the hundred or so potshots floyd will land in return that that will give him the easy decision. I'm not so quick to look at the past weight differences in this fight. No one shed a tear watching pac beat a weight drained oscar (who floyd fought at 154), nor the win he got against cotto who was dropped down to 145 as well. I'm curious to see what is said after this fight with shane who we all know pac avoided all together no matter how much shane pleaded to make it happen.

Mayweather pisses it.

How is this opinion formed that Collazo gave Mosley any problems
Anyway, I'm pretty sure that Cotto only gave Mosley problems becuase Mosley was set on knocking Cotto 'the brawler' out with one punch....
When he met Cotto 'the boxer' he came completely unstuck.
Not to say that he can't always deal with that style.
You could see Cotto was just beginning to wilt under Mosley's pressure... In the same back peddling way as shown in all of Cotto's proceeding fights.
So yeah IMO it's not so black and white. Mosley needs to get his estimation of, and preparation for Mayweather absolutely spot on.
The less surprises, the better.
