This was back when DD was known as Lion. But it still says DD. Read it.
LOL I've told you about 20 odd times, Purist. He's not Nigel Benn.

Barring how absurb the thought of him being Nigel Benn is, DD uses chris eubank as his avatar half the time. That alone should tell you that he's not.

I'm sure he was joking when he said he is Nigel Benn. I'm dumbfounded that you took him seriously.

Hopkins at number 10! Hahaha, never thought I'd live to see the day! And Mayweather finally at number 1!!! Boxing just keeps getting more surprising. I don't think Mayweather, a fighter who hasn't fought a super-fight, oustide of Arturo Gatti, deserves such a crown.

As for Hopkins at number 10...
When you fall, you fall hard! I didn't think Hopkins' would be disrespected that easily after a loss. ...But you know what? Keep disrespecting and you'll get Disrespected Back!

With all due respect to the "champion," Hopkins, he did beat the hell outta Jermain, physically and most of all... mentally. Jermain isn't the man to dethrone Hopkins, it's a man with talent who is willing to maul Hopkins and willing to take punishment to do it. Either that or a super fast boxer-counterpuncher. Basically a Mexican or a Mayweather, both would have to be bigger of course.

After the Jermain fight, I thought Sugar Ray Leonard has a chance against Hopkins, but Hagler has a better chance at Hopkins. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Put in your two cents on the NEW Ring's ratings.

Firstly, DD give Hopkins the respect he deserves (but i agree with you btw the middleweight division has been poor for a long time) but HOW IS MAYWEATHER number 1# ?? I dont understand how beating Gatti launched him into the number 1 spot. It just doesn't make any sense. Snakey, Hatton DESERVES to be up there in the P4P list, after all he should be undisputed light-welterweight king beating your favorite Tzu who was in the P4P list at about the same position. Personally Barrera is the best P4P boxer in the world and has been for a while now ( the Pacqiou fight was a one-off, Barrera didn't prepare properly by look of him that night). Other than that i think its quite a good P4P list

    Mayweather Number one is B*llshit..
On what basis? Beating a poor Gatti..?
If thats the case for him being there then Hatton should be Right up there for Beating Tszyu.

why would he not be up there. gatti isnt the best fighter that he has ever beat or anything. he has fought a lot of vey good fighters.

hatton has beaten 1 good opponent and that fight has a lot of controversy to it.

Your gonna justify TO ME NOW why you think Mayweather should be number 1.

Hopkins dropping all the way to 10 is a joke!

No way Hatton should be higher than Corrales. His last 3 fights were wins over Casamayor, Freitas, and Castillo.

Morales should be # 1 or 2, but definitely higher than Winky and Barrera.

And PBF is # 1 cuz he, like RJJ used to do, wins almost every rd in almost all of his fights.

Hatton TKO Tyzu round 11. Whats controversial about it (Tyzu Quote) "The better man won". Hopkins-Taylor is controversial, Hatton-Tyzu is not

thats bulls*** he should be at least be #3 and thats at LEAST

boxing needs some kind of commison the can stop s*** like that from happinging, and i think the fight was a draw, who ever scored the 12 round for hopkins should be asked to resign as a judge, beacuse thes f***ing wrong who ever wrote the for the ring is a f***ing idoit and should be culled!
You're on crack. Bnard did nothing but run the first 8 rounds. If you're going to try to play the rope a dope you have to knock the guy out. I hear all these punks talking about the 12 round what about the idiot that gave Hopkins round 2 of the first 4 rounds. Hopkins is nothing but an old man that can't fight a whole fight anymore so he tries to shorten the fights by running. He had a great run but now he is tarnishing everything he has done by crying and protesting now like the punk jailbird he really is. My best bet is after the rematch Bnard takes his money spends it stupidly (like he always does) and we'll see him living on the street like the bum he is in 10 years. The only reason he is protesting the fight is because he doesn't want to have to face Taylor again to get his belts back because he knows he can't win. Taylor is 26 and only going to get better, Hopkins has already past his peak he will not be any better tommorrow than he was yesterday.
