Yeah it's a good commercial but his southern accent is...off. Still funny though but I have some relatives from those parts that would have played the part better.

Southern accent is off There are parts where he sounds Austalian. If you're going to make fun of southern rednecks (because rednecks are everywhere even in England) then do it properly.
