It could have been the drug testing and the weight he lost. He even said it in the 24/7 final episode when the drug testers surprised him. He said his mouth was dry for cutting weight, and he said he could barely give a urine sample. Mosley was probably weakened by the drug testing, probably more weakened than Mayweather. Mayweather is very strong physically and can handle the blood testing because it doesn't take anything out of him.

It could have been the layoff.

But realize that a little over a year ago Shane looked very impressive and he turned back the clock. But part of that was because Margarito didn't look good himself and didn't tag Mosley like Mayweather did.

Mayweather. Mayweather hurt Mosley in the face. Did you look at the HBO punch diagram? Mayweather only landed a few body shots. Most of Mayweather's punches were head shots. Mosley's face was swollen since the 3rd round.

And the superhuman thing about Mayweather is that Shane did some good body work int he early rounds, but Mayweather's body is so strong that it didn't even phase him. If anything in made Mayweather more flat-flooted, which still worked out for Floyd because then Mayweather started trading with Shane and hurting Shane more frequently. But the body shots Shane landed didn't seem to hurt Mayweather.
