I think he should of had a fight before Mayweather 18 months or just short out of the ring is not good for a man of nealry 39 years of age, I think he should retire he has had a great career.

I think Mosley was over trained, 38 years old, and Mayweather was just too fast for him.

Also Mosley was really tensed up and not relaxed in there, and being tense will tire you out very quickly.

It takes twice as much energy to fight tense and nervous than loose and relaxed.

I honestly think it was avoiding the towel at any given moment in camp that took his stamina away.

if you look at mosleys fights the past few years the only impressive one was margocheater. other than that, he has looked like a top 15 fighter, and certainly not a p4pder.

I did think about it cause his stamina was so shitty so early but then again its not like its an open and shut thing, he is 38 after all.

The reason he looked so stamina-wise and had such great stamina early is basically because he can make another fighter fight his pace that means he can rest when he wants come on when he wants just what he did against Margarito, and he held a lot early in that fight till about the mid rounds when he came on and finished it. Mayweather by taking the fight to him for the whole fight from the last minute of the 2nd round onward he never got that chance. When's the last time you saw a fighter coming forward on Shane Mosley and making him work and expend energy just to keep him off? No one.

It has nothing to do with the taking of blood etc. Fact is his age, combined with his inactivity and how good Floyd Mayweather is brought his downfall that night. Nothing else.

Margarito came forward all night, as did mayorga, vargas, oscar in the first fight, winky in both fights...Shane has never tired nor backed down from fighters coming forward.

How can one suggest that shane got tired because of what mayweather did when mayweather didn't do anything but get hurt and shane suddenly stopped punching. Then for those suggesting that he got tired after the second round because of adjustments by floyd is ridiculous, because shane knew he was hurt and press the action. Even in the margarito fight shane immediately came out the next round and jumped on him

"I didn't want him to lose that buzz"

I think it's fine that floyd didn't go down and still fought like a champ, but the more reasonable and obvious facts (38+15layoff+overtrainined) weigh more heavily than floyd adjusted causing mosely instantly get tired in less than one after he hurt floyd...

How can he get tired from not throwing punches, because floyd didnt do much either in round 3...
