How can you possibly think that this would be a funny joke!! I mean, by any stretch of reality and open mindness, I don't see how it's possible.

by "you", Im assuming you mean "they" and we are just lost in translation.

In that case, the "you" was more referring to the expression in an informal way, without pointing somebody in particular.like when you see somebody unbelievable on the t.v and in shock, think to yourself: "how can you possibly do that", it was not aiming at you
