Is this the episode where Smokey/Locke plants the bomb on Jack to kill them?

Was he lying when he told Jack/Saywer that he can kill them? If not why don't he just kill them if that's what he wanted?

How come Sayid seemed to soften from that killer trance he was in? Did that happen when he didn't kill Desmond?

If Smokey/Locke can't kill the candidates why not kill Kate in that temple killing spree thingy?

I'm not really sure what the deal with Sayid was this whole season and I've gotta think that he must have kind of thought WTF too. But yeah I assume him not killing Desmond was I guess them saying it was still kind of Sayid. But the whole thing was just not very well explained.

But yeah the one where Sayid and Jin and Sun died was the last one. I said something about the island being racist but I edited it out cause it might have seemed like a spoiler.

I don't think he can kill them. Otherwise none of it makes sense.

Mainly though I'll just answer I don't know to most of your questions. Every once in a while I'll check in with the crazies on that lostapedia site to try to figure something out and it just confuses me more.

The next episode is the series maker or breaker (I mean I don't know if there's any way the show realizes the potential of the 1st and 2nd seasons but it could still make or break the show to some degree.) Its the Jacob/Smoke Monster episode.
