Im not doubting you but it does seem a strange move for Mzartinez. The fight would make him millions more than any other fight and Floyd may beat him but is less likely to hurt him than a true middleweight puncher like Pavlik.

GeneralBulldog cleared that up a few posts back. I was just going strictly off what a friend told me (After I told him of a possible Mayweather-Martinez fight), and thus my declaration that I hadn't seen confirmation yet.
