Countered Williams effectively, reduced his workrate, won every round (maybe), displayed superior defense and ring generalship. You know, the things a fighter needs to do to win a fight. Actually, going by your post history I'd be surprised if you knew what a fighter needed to do to win a fight.

For the record, I think Williams was coming on and would have probably won the fight if he didn't get caught, but I thought Cintron should have got the nod at the time it was stopped.

Kermit Cintron was tagging him more when Paul Williams, was trying to be aggressive. Just because some people hate Kermit Cintron, for some of his antics in the ring. Doesn't mean he couldn't of won this fight, he was 3-0 up and having his best round of the fight.

Cintron won every round, then fell out of the ring and got hurt and somehow lost a decision.

Terrible fight. Cintron had a good game plan, it was working, but then he fell out of the ring, onto the table. Then from the table to the ground he supposedly REALLY hurt his neck and back.

I am a big Williams fan, but he was losing the fight. I had it 2-1 cintron. 3rd round probably should have gone to Cintron, but my bias got the best of me. Regardless it shouldnt even have gone to the cards. Williams even knows it wasnt a great win. He isn't happy with this.

It's a shame it goes to the cards like that because both fighters had a gameplan for 12, it doesn't prove anything for either fighter in going to the cards like that. A NC would be fairer, but seeing as Williams is the man who was opening up in the fourth and was ready to continue, I have no issue with him getting the nod. The sad thing is, somebody did win and loose that fight. The rules on how they went to the cards is a whole different issue. They had to have been doing something cause they weren't watching that fight, maybe they did judge it on what they though williams was going to do not the very little he really did do......sad
