Tilt makes me nervous with the way he keeps throwing her into these fights. Leslie is a very nice person but I'm really starting to believe that her husband is trying to live his boxing dream through her. All jokes aside that's kind of scary. Maybe if Leslie gets a few victories under her belt we'll consider it. Until then we're moving forward with other fights.

Your funny,I like you, because thats not what I heard.
You take care of your next fight,we'll take care of ours, and we'll see you back in Trinidad in May.
Now if you want to say that the matchmaker is a total liar,Im sure she'd love to talk to you again after you state that in public.
No please,Id love for you to do it. Go right ahead and say it.

    Amen to that.

Regarding the photo. Yes I know a bit of blood doesn't always mean a lot. Christy Martin seemed to bleed whenever someone looked at her.
If I had that problem I'd do a couple of things...tighten my damn defence, blood pouring out your face doesn't look good, makes it look like you're getting the worst of the action, if I was really serious and looking towards a solid pro career, get those blood vessels cauterised.

You know Missy although I have no evidence available as to what you look like I've always pictured you as a huge, muscular rhinocerous of a woman who could bludgeon her way to a women's heavyweight title within weeks of starting her pro career

No offense intended of course, it's just you have the online personality of a large scary woman, like the gym teacher from Porky's

Please if you ever do fight professionally Missy, you HAVE to call yourself 'Miss Balbricker'!

Yes I am going on record saying that DR did not offer you another fight with us. Look at how your story changed. First you said that it was our camp that wanted a rematch. Now you're claiming that it's the matchmaker who wants the rematch. Get your lies straight before you post.

Maybe she was trying to console you guys by saying she'll get you back down there for another fight. (Probably as an opponent for another fighter). But no one wants to see it again. No one except you.
Maybe, just maybe if the stars in the heavens line up and we fight again, I hope you'll be with Leslie in her corner. I would love to see the great trainer (that feeds bagels w/o cream cheese to his fighters) in action. Maybe we will learn something.

I got that photo from an online newspaper Memphis. Were you referring to more fight photos or photos of her in general?

    ballbricker?

you've been spying on me haven't you

the attitude comes from having a brother who is ten years older, a father who thinks it's funny to run people down (no not with a car). So I developed an attitude early on. That was honed in every martial arts school and boxing gym where 9 times out of 10 you are the only female. You get accepted by getting on with it and not being one of these prissy women who turn to train wearing make-up and batting your eyelashes at the men.

    That is all.

Since her camp is reading this,do me a favor, give me a little more lead time to find you a fighter when you want a walk through tune up for a re-match
154 pound women do not exactly grow on trees,Im trying, but im not finding for what you want to pay.
Ruben stoned me today, because you guys are being like a bird whose singing, what does every kid know how a bird sings?
If you guys find somebody,it will be a minor miracle, and since Im the guy people call when they need a miracle,Ill be impressed if its anything but a debuter.

Regarding his fighters stable though, really, he needs to give it up. Neither Kid Thunder or his wife should be getting into a professional boxing ring, they simply arn't competitive at that level.

But there is no shame in that, if I stepped into a boxing ring with my diseased lungs, sloth like reflexes, frail bones and timid heart I'd do worse than both of them for sure, I'd never hear the bell for round two, but guess what, that is a large part of the reason for why I chosen NOT to take up professional boxing.

I mean if you box becuase you love it and want to improve, then maybe take up amatuer boxing. At least with only 4 x 2 min rounds, headguards, standing counts etc you are unilikey to get badly hurt, certainly I've never heard of anyone killed or seriously injured in amatuer boxing, but to have no boxing experience and then to turn PROFESSIONAL is just absolutely fucking nuts.

You wouldn't expect to be able to compete professionally in any other sport without previous experience so why would you assume you could in the toughest sport of all.

It's just ridiculous, can you imagine some guy who like to play on the pitch and putt at the weekend with his kids deciding he's good enough to enter one of the Golf Majors, how would he do realistically?

Or maybe someone who goes karting regularly suddenly being put behind the wheel of a Formula One car and lining up at the back of the grid for the Monaco Grand Prix.

It's just absurd to think these people could compete, the golfer would just humiliate himself on telly and the go kartist would likely get himself killed.

Nobody is saying TM, his wife or Thunder are failures as human beings because they arn't cut out for pro boxing, probably 90% of those of us on this site would do no better.

The difference is we have the sense to realise that we are unlikely to be able to stick on a pair of boxing gloves, step into a boxing ring and work our up to being a world champ, unless maybe it's on the Nintendo Wii.
Thing is, in other sports, you have to "qualify" to be on a pro level. In racing you have to make the race. In golf, chances are that you golfed your whole life throughout school and someone saw your talent and took you to the next level.

In boxing, it seems like anyone can turn pro. Which is why Kid thunder actually has wins on his record. Looking at him, to think that he ACTUALLY beat two other fighters should be even scarier than his 14 losses or however many there are.

I just don't understand when kid thunder says he has love for the sport, yadda yadda, yet TM told us he barely trained and ate donuts. That's a lot of love and determination to succeed. I loved the sport of baseball throughout my whole life, which is why i played 11 of 12 months a year. I didn't talk about it on a message board, or make youtube videos of how my fastball reaches 90mph (it doesn't.. just an example ).

Actually it's even much tougher than that. In the UK at least in order to become a golf professional you actually have to take exams and do courses in addition to having obvious golfing talent.

It's basically a three year degree course.

It seems that boxing has the lowest entry requirements of any pro sport, which is bizarre considering its also possibly the most dangerous.

This thread is hilarious, good stuff all around. Just in response to that end bit though, I'd say it's anything but bizzare when you think about it. It is BECAUSE boxing is so dangerous that the entry requirements are so low, you need to have that heirarchy in order for fighters to progress. In any other sport getting beat by vastly more experienced athletes is how you improve, you could lose every competitive round of golf for years upon years before you became good enough to win them. Try feeding some talented prospect to a consumate pro, it only takes one punch to end his career.
