Why should Hatton give these bigger guys half a chance?

    He is a 140 fighter.

He fought Collazo to give the US fans a decent slice of action, nothing more.

never seen Quintana but he sounds pretty handy, don't think a fight with Hatton will happen any time soon but if Quintana can get a few more big wins he'll be up there fighting 4 belts

off topic I was looking at the welterweights on boxrec and saw Paul Williams 30-0
never heard of him but he's a good record, is he up to much?

Barrera i am the biggest Hatton fan, but if you think he would have an easy night with this guy i dont know what your watching, like said previoulsy i think he is a more powerful version of Collazo.
That's my opinion as well. And they said that he actually lost some power when he broke both arms in an accident. People are not gonna give him credit right away but he is really good. He can take a punch and alot of punches that looked like they were gonna land, he moved his head very well and rolled with them perfectly to the point of them not having any effect whatsoever.

Quintana looks like he works a lot more than Collazo. I was extremely impressed with Quintana on Sat., he made Julio who does have a ton of power, look foolish. In fact, he rocked Julio a bunch of times. If PBF is undersized at 147, the Hatton is extremely undersized. Trust me, it won't be long before Hatton gets KOed at 147. I'm not hating, but Hatton uses his grappling style to get in and bang on the inside because of his SHORT a** ARMS. Trust me, Hatton's defense, which was thought to be decent, looked horrible. It won't be long before people figure out the key to beating Hatton. Anybody that pressures Hatton will win because if you put the pressure on Hatton that means that he has to trade because he probably sucks fighting on the run and being defense. Hatton @ 147 eventually will be knocked out. Hell PBF might suffer the same fate. These guys aren't welters.

push hatton back........sry man wont happen.Which is why he wont loose..

    Nope!

Next up is not a washed up fighter either. Its one of 2 candidates and both are at the top of their game

Check my fight thread under the hidden section to see Quintana bossman. As for Paul Williams,he is very much 1 for the future and I for one will be a big fan of his. He's absolutely MASSIVE for a WW,bigger than Tony Margarito I think. He's got a good jab, good variety of punches. He sparred with Margarito quite a few times and they went to war at times and although Tony came out on top most times,it was close and he held his own!!

I dont know about this fight if it did come off i would be very nervous going into this.

Trust me, Ricky won't be taking this fight
Most definitely. Quintana is the new Collazo at 147. I don't think anybody is gonna wanna fight this guy.
I don't think Hatton will be fighting at 147 for a while after his last fight.

I've watched several of Paul Williams last few fights and although he's coming along pretty good, he's not ready yet. He was calling out all kinds of top fighters after his last win against an average opponent. He's long and shows some angles but the last guy he fought hit and hurt him more than should have been the case. If he improves his defence, he can make some noise but I don't think it will be too much.
