    You're right, it is absurd! The doctors told him to stay down. I'm sure no other fighter would have tried to get up after being winded, but then catching their breath and realizing they were OK to fight.

    Can anybody here think of a fighter who wouldn't have just stayed there motionless while the doctors rolled them over, put a neck brace on them, and strapped them onto a stretcher, even though they wanted to continue?

    Hmmm, I think I can come up with some who I think would've angrily shoved the doctors away, and done their best to get back in the ring. Let's make a list. I'll start it:
