Some of just don't blindly worship fighters and illogically think they can beat anyone.
Sure if you want to play that game about questioning the guy's last few wins. Let's do it with Floyd then.

De La Hoya- 34 years old, past his prime and mainly inactive during that time.
Hatton-Fought at 147 against Floyd, prior to that he looked like crap moving to 147.
Marquez-Went life and death at 135 against Diaz and Casamayor, so he was bound to look like crap fighting at the welterweight division and at 36 years old.
    Mosley-38 1/2 years old with a 16 month layoff.

It's pretty easy ain't it to pick holes in a guy's wins?

And I already said that I favor Floyd in a matchup against Pacquiao, but ain't it easy to discredit a guy's victories?
The difference is that Mayweather has fought the number 2 and 3 p4p people in his last 2 wins, Hatton nor Cotto was anywhere near that
cotto was p4p top 10 or 20 when pacquiao fought him and cotto has a win on no. 3 (shane). how do you explain that?

imo pacquiao's win over hatton, cotto and clottey is bit greater (or equal) to floyd's win over jmm and shane.

I think some people are missing the point. I have never been one to defend Floyd's resume. And this argument has nothing to do with Pac's resume vs. Floyd's. It has to do with who has trouble with what style. When I said previously that i don't personally over hype Pac's last several wins...i don't mean to imply he deserves no credit for his victories. But i think people get blinded by the fact that he fought "bigger" guys. I think Roach smartly picked the right guys at the right times. Pac deserves credit for finishing the job. But ultimately...Pac's best opponent has been Marquez. And Marquez showed that a skilled counter puncher can give Pac fits. I am not a huge Floyd fan. But he is clearly a more skilled and more adaptable fighter than Pac. Pac will also not have the speed and stamina advantages he had over guys like Cotto, Oscar, and Hatton. Mayweather will do everything Marquez did...except much better.
