the sad thing is the internet is evolving all the time and if you stay using old outdated scripts you leave yourself open to be hacked and spammed to shit... i really don;t enjoy having to update this place but sometimes it has to be done or we would still be typing "great guestbook post".

and there lies the problem mate... anything new takes alittle time to learn but saying that if you had took the time to look just above your rant post you would have no need to ask where the smilies are.

this is however a problem for lazy people and 99% of internet users are to lazy to read anything including me, so it does need sorting.

It all seems okay to me, but it doesn't look so easy on the eyes at the moment and probably just needs some getting used to. I've only been on an hour so am still working my way around somewhat. You just need to put your mouse over the icons and it will tell you what they are. Will just take a little time methinks.
