    Styles make fights.
If that's the case then Malignaggi would make Khan move and turn a lot while he gets off while not giving Khan a target to get off on. Khan hasn't really shown an ability to get off punches when constantly on the move, sure he can get his feet planted and throw 50 punches but has he ever been made to move and turn, when he is moved and turned he seems to go into a defensive shell and waiting to get off. If he waits to get off against Malignaggi it will cost him dearly because Malignaggi has shown an ability to box on the move and with his feet planted, Khan has only shown he can fight with his feet planted.

Mitchell-Katsidis is a 50/50 fight IMO. Can't really make up my mind but if forced I'd take Mitchell. I think there's a chance he'll catch Katsidis coming in.

Khan-Malignaggi I see Paulie coming away with a decision in a close fight.

I thought that too (kats looks bigger). If I wasn't cheering for Mitchell i'd probably back Katsidis at the odds.

I've backed Mitchell to get the win in rounds 7-9. I just think his power will start to tell in the second half of the fight.

Khan will be deparate to impress the american audience as most of the UK dislike him, so I think this one has a chance of finishing early. More likely is a UD following Khan nearly burning himself out trying for the big finish.

    Default Ortiz v Campbell

Who do you think will win this am thinking Campbell has has been to inactive and not sure about him at 140, but Ortiz doesn't fill you with any confidence after reading this interview. I like the odds of 4/6 for Ortiz though I thought he would be much shorter:

: How has everything gone in preparation and what can we expect to see from you on Saturday night? "I'm well prepared so I don't know, it's going to be a great fight and I'm ready. As far as I'm concerned I'm well prepped for this fight so it should be fun."

: What are your thoughts on Nate Campbell as a fighter? What weaknesses do you see in him that you feel you'll be able to exploit come fight time?

Victor Ortiz: "I'm going to take it as it comes, so on Saturday night, I'll let you know everything."

: Based on what you've seen from him on film, what do you think of Nate Campbell as a fighter?

: "He's a tough fighter. He's obviously a former world champion for a reason. It's boxing and there's tough fights all around. I can't judge him based on what I see. I have to go in there on Saturday night and judge him for myself."

: What are you hoping a victory over Nate Campbell leads to? What does a victory over Nate Campbell mean to you?

: "Obviously a victory over anyone means a lot, but I'm not looking past Nate Campbell. I'm here to enjoy and be focused on Nate and Nate only until the fight is over."

: Nate is the biggest name you've faced since your only loss to Marcos Maidana. Are you looking at this fight as a statement maker to show that you're of the elite level at 140?

: "No, I don't believe I have to show the world anything. Everybody is liable to their own opinion, so I don't have to say much on that. Like I said, I'm well prepped for this fight and he's not only elite fighter that I've fought as far as that goes."

: So are you basically saying that regardless of what's happened in the past you don't feel the need to prove yourself to anybody. Is this just about the better man on Saturday night to you? I'm just trying to be clear

: "Exactly. I don't think there's anything I have to prove. As long as I'm happy with myself and know I'm doing alright, that's all that matters to myself. "

: Other than victory do you have a prediction?

: "No. I'm here to box and that's it."

: Is there anybody out there at 140 that you're hoping to mix it up with in the near future?

: "I'm sure I can let you know all about it after the fight."

: We'll have plenty to talk about after the fight. Until then, closing thoughts for the fans?

: "Thank you very much for all of the support and love, or hate. Either or, I'm still thankful and I'm well prepped."

I was just gonna start a thread asking what happened to his fans? No threads about his fight. Not long ago about 95% of the forum (that took interest) thought Ortiz was so good that a match with Khan was laughable (even though Khan done him in the amateurs).

Now he's propping up Khan's undercard.. the irony.

I've got him in an acca. He may be mentally weak but i'll give him another chance.

IMO Ortiz stops Campbell in the mid rounds, if he gets his confidence back and tightens up his defense he'll be one of the top fighters at 140

8th round is about the longest Campbell will last.

Im picking cambell on points.ortiz is a nice dude but he worrys me, is the mental toughness their for the top level of the sport, he has all the physical attributes. If cambell still got something in him I expect him to out think and out tough ortiz to a close points descision

Considering Mitchell went life and death with domestic level Carl Johanesson a few fights ago at 130 and that his best win is against a guy hand picked to go four of five rounds with Amir Khan then get stopped then you can legitimately wonder about why people are picking him. Katsidis is the naturally bigger guy and is at least a level above anyone Mitchell has ever fought. Mitchell has shown good boxing skills and power recently though and he's at home so people are backing him. I picked him but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him lose. If Katsidis is big and strong enough to impose himself on Mitchell and turn it into a war it's going to be difficult for Kevin.

I got Campbell in this one.

Ortiz is a strong young fighter but Campbell is a veteran with a ton of tricks up his sleeve. I see him taking the early rounds off and then taking it to Ortiz, working his body, etc.

    I got Campbell by decision.

    Campbell KO

I have no analytical reasoning for choosing this; this is just what I hope to see.

I love Campbell, but he's old and he looked rusty in the Bradley fight (not that three rounds means all that much). I think Ortiz stops him.
