also in term of styles id say katsidis is a harder fight for khan than malignaggi
Malinaggi would stand any version of Diaz on his head every day of the week, Katsidis would be made to look silly v Khan aswell.
    as i was saying ........
As I was saying Khan would destroy Katsidis within 5 rounds pal.

Ah well at least my bet came in and there's a reply on ITV4 tonight at 7:30PM. Looks like Khan done real good.
He did veey well. Controlled the fight and steadily put on a beatdown. Paulie's face looked a bit of a mess at the stoppage.
It did your right, but on the other hand, I thought Khans eyes looked really marked, and to be honest, I hardly saw malignaggi land, aside from a few jabs here and there and a couple of left hooks..... Maybe it's just his skin type, shows a bruise pretty damn quick.

Paulie landed a few solid counters early on. Khan looked really tense. Paulie was pretty accurate early on so those sort of shots leave a mark.

In Khans post fight interview he was talking about Freddie Roach telling him what to do and him just doing that. I suppose that was alright to do in this fight as Paulie looked abit lost and pretty much got jabbed out of the fight. Does anyone think if Khan comes under pressure he will have the boxing IQ to make reasonable adjustments? I dont think he has much intelligence outside or inside the ring to be honest. Bar his speed, which is elite, i'm not sold on what else he's got.

I also dont think his suggestion of fighting Maidana then the winner of Bradley vs Alexander is very fair if he's looking at it as some kind of mini tournament.

Disappointed with Mitchell, said he had personal problems and Warren was not pleased when he found that out.

Khan was impressive made paulie look like a slow coach.

From a money point of view he obviously feels he can make more by fighting an unbeaten guy. So that's why he'd like the winner of Bradley - Alexander. At least if he loses that, he can still fight the original loser from Bradley/Alexander. If he fights the loser first, he has nowhere to go if he loses.

I also think he'll struggle against somebody who comes forward with power and skill. Don't think Maidana is that guy mind, but he could be.

Good stuff from Khan, excellent jab, blinding speed, did a good job on Paulie.

Still dont like how he hits on the run, he could get away with it last night though.

Anyone got any clips of the Mitchell KO? was watching a less than brillaint stream.

I was impressed with Malignaggi's chin but honestly this was the complete and total outcome I expected. Malignaggi has the most overrated defense in boxing, it's a crime to call him a true 'slick' fighter, someone who can only make 1 punch miss at a time. Khan had a good jab/left hand but it was the right hand that hurt Malignaggi and that's what got it going for him. Malignaggi is super small for the weight and holds his hands way to low, he's just not ever going to trouble a guy who's quick and powerful like Khan.

I wouldn't rush Khan in there with Bradley, Marquez, Alexander or any other top 140 lber yet. Katsidis would be a good fight, hope it happens. I wonder if Katsidis can deal with a jab yet, would be interesting. He's DEFINITELY not one to be written off though he can definitely KO Khan, either way the fight is over before 8 rounds imo.
