Adamek would hammer Holyfield and prove nothing.
Hopefully this isn't right as Adamek should be doing more meaningful things with his time than beating up a shell.

Evander's stubborn as a mule...he'll need his ass kicked decisively before he finally (I hope) retires. The fights against an uninspired Valuev and Frans Botha only added to his (crazy) dream of regaining a world title.
If the fight happens...Tomasz will retire him.
Adamek should fight someone more credible, this is a step backwards for him.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
As I see it, Adamek throughout his career has been constantly refused a fight with a big known name. Glen Johnson, Ray Jones Jr, Bernard Hopkins, you name it. Either because of fear, greed or lack of television interest, he couldn't beat those guys and steal some of their fame. Now, that his position is stronger, he probably can't resist taking what should be given to him a long time ago
Finally, last year he knocked out old Golota and this gained him more popularity in Poland than beating Cunningham and Banks. At least among "the people". This is how it works, sadly. This is not Adamek's fault - the system is to blame.

Adamek is the most professional HW out there. I have grown to really like the guy. No BS, will fight anyone, and is quite talented. Beating Holyfield, though, proves absolutely nothing, except he gets a phony HW belt, which may help leverage him into fights with the hayes and klitchkos....
i would pick almost anyone including my 99 year old grandma and my 13 year old down syndrome neighbour to beat holyfield at this point.
if its true that adamek wants to fight holyfield. i can get him a fight with my grandma after. she needs a pay day.
I can't believe Holyfield is still fighting. When he was born, Ali was Cassius Clay.
For people that say Roy Jones or Hopkins should retire, what do those people say about Holyfield? Absolutely incredible. The difference to me between Jones, Hopkins, and Holyfield, is that Jones still has speed, where as Hopkins and Holyfield don't have the any of the speed they used to have at their current age.
Still Holyfield is tough as nails and still packs a punch. I don't think he can beat Adamek, but I'd like to see him surprise me.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
A part of me want's to give Adamek a pass on this since I'm certain this is a money making fight for him...
Because it sure as hell ain't gonna help him in the rankings...
