lol does Augustus look done yet? for someone on 3 days notice he isnt looking bad. I wouldn't stretch to say if this wasn't 3 days notice and Augustus was being active or had trained for this, he'd be taking him to school about now.

Majesty this fight is proof Augustus is old. He clearly has the skillset to compete with Provodnikov but his physical attributes are declining.

Provodnikov has knocked him down, broke his nose and is still landing at almost 50%, face it he's getting old. Provodnikov is just toying with him now.
Considering the shape he's in and the 3 days notice he is doing fine against this guy. declining attributes or not and Procodnikov is either tired or just bought his time after trying to stop Augustus, we'll see in this next round.

Lol Majesty you are consistent if nothing else. Prime Augustus is probably going to beat Provodnikov, even a well trained Augustus just isn't getting out of the way of those right hands.

From what I see from this prospect he isn't too impressive. He has power, but that's about it. Any decent boxer would beat this guy. His power is an equalizer but that's about it. Augustus is a decent boxer. But the way everyone was building him up as an A+ prospect you'd think he'd beat Augustus easily in 3 rounds. What I saw was he gets hit a lot, gets hit easily and loads that right too much. If an out of shape Augustus on 3 days notice can hit this guy often win rounds and even back him up. He isn't an A+ prospect everyone was building him to be. I really don't see him being champ for long if he ever wins one. He has power, but that's about it. Then again nowadays all you need is power fans seem to overlook every other flaw. But those flaws will get him beat.
