He has never been able to deal with it. The fact he nearly got ko'd by Collazo had fuck all to do with him fighting at welterweight and neither did Mayweather. He just doesn't know how to react to combinations, and he's never been able to deal with speed. Collazo threw fast combinations and nearly took Hatton's head off. Same with Pacquiao and once Mayweather opened up, he did the same thing.

It's ok saying he only lost to the two greatest fighters of a generation, but the facts are he never convincingly beat anybody who was in their prime who was technically good with fast hands. Oscar would stop him after about 6 or 7 imo.
Good post. You've got to love people defending Hatton's chances on the basis that "he only lost to the two best p4p fighters", without recognizing that he was KNOCKED OUT by both, and never beat anyone close to the same level, being rocked by several far inferior guys. At the same time people will excuse his poor performance against Collazo due to being at WW, although Collazo isn't a puncher nor did he impose his size in the fight. Talk about having it both ways.
