cheers mate i caught the german interview with him in the dressing room... i think it translated as he wants Haye or Valuev next... my getam sucks but i think thats what he said
He needs to fight Haye badly, I think a fight with Valuev would be so boring!
i don't think he was calling him out mate... more like saying possibilities.
lets hope the Haye can happen though. Vitali needs Haye to raise his name, hes never talked about or anything. This thread shows the lack of interest in him as a fighter and to think this fight was for the heavyweight world championship and nobody cares. This is how much he needs Haye who gets x10 more coverage than Vitali

Exactly it shows how boring Vitali is, he needs Haye so badly. If this had been 10-20 years ago everybody would have been talking about a heavyweight world title fight but now it doesnt even get any media attention what so ever, it shows how stale Vitali really is

It will be like fighting a giant punching bag and Valuev goes down around the 7th. I guess he looks for second options in case Haye runs a third time.

Yes he said he definitely would want to fight Haye, but he would be equally happy if Wladimir would get the chance to knock Haye out...and like Saddo said he mentioned Valuev as it would be interesting to fight someone that much bigger than he(Vitali) is...

The fact that I could have watched this fight for 10 dollars less than the Vazquez/Bedak fight speaks volumes!

He's looked his age in every fight since his comeback IMO. I think Haye has a much better chance of beating him than Wlad.

Trust me, he eats plenty of Bratwurst. You should see the pics he posts of him and his all-male "entourage" on the Mods board. It reduces Big H to tears of jealousy almost every time.

vitali was real sharp against peter and arreola, both legitimate threats. The other fights were mere sparring session/keep busy fights until haye or valuev 'man-up' for once.

Vitali pummels both haye and valuev.

Most interesting event of the night was shortly after when Jay Nady waved off the wrong fighter!

I keep telling you guys he's lost that extra "pop" on his punches because he's had knee, neck, shoulder and back injuries so he can't punch as hard. It's making him box a bit more, but he's wearing down and without his offense being as potent he's sitting there waiting for someone to really challenge him...if he wasn't so athletically gifted he would have been in trouble vs Arreola. I still think he'd beat the WBA title holder just because that guy swings a bit wild from time to time and Vitali still moves well enough to avoid those shots.

I think Adamek is next and then retirement...maybe Valuev...but I'd like for Vitali to retire and clear the way for Wladimir to cement his legacy because Wlad has some very solid years left in him at the top of his game
