I think you got it reversed
Considering Pacqauio has fought DLH, Cotto, Hatton and Clottey in succession i do not see him avoiding anyone. I see PBF taking a long lay off, fighting a 38 year old inactive champion and doing his best to have the negotiations go all his own way. It takes two to tango. Just make the fight and settle the ego issue in the ring.

What a stupid issue to haggle over!! That's one thing that ROYALLY pisses me off about boxing, and about Mayweather in particular (although by no means is he the first, or the last, to use percentages as an ego trip). What the fukk is the difference whether it's 60-40 or 50-50?? Is Floyd going to go bankrupt because he settles for 50% of the purse? And please... NONE of us here know what it's like to earn millions upon millions of dollars. So spare me your silly arguments about how Floyd really NEEDS the money. He doesn't. Listen, if the jackass wants to fight Pacquiao and settle the p4p issue once and for all... IN THE RING, the way it should be... then take the 50% and shut the fukk up.

Ok, Floyd fans... let the counter-arguments begin.

    - the dif between 60% and 50% in this fight could equal 5 million or more...thats dollars. i dont care how much money you got, that kinda cash is worth haggling for.

    - your last sentence could easily be applied to pacman. Just replace the "then take the 50% and shut the fukk up" to "just take the 40% and shut the fukk up" or replace with "just take the blood test and shut the fukk up"

i mean honestly 5 months ago didnt manny turn down 14 day cutt off for testing and 50:50 split? now he wants the 14 days and 50 50. if true, this is getting annoying.

Funny thing is guys let either there desire to see the fight or the hatred for Floyd to help them ignore logic. Mayweather clearly has the bigger numbers throughout hiss PPV career both before and after fighting Oscar and is the biggest draw in the sport . Pac is a loved fighter much more loved than Floyd, but Numbers make the difference although it makes no difference to me or any of you guys their is nothing wrong with asking for what you are deserving of.

No other fight for floyd is going to generate the money that pac will. I can see why his ego is getting in the way but if he was happy to offer 14 day cut off and 50:50 before he should be able to live with that now.

It's childish to take that offer from pac just because it wasn't accepted straight away i believe pac may have felt a little pressured to accept the terms before he had a proper chance to think about it. He has now said he will do the fight under those terms and to the casual fan if Floyd wont make the fight 50:50 he will appear to be ducking the match.

The way i see it Floyd can accept 50:50 of a very very big pot or take a massive share of no where near as much fighting someone else. I think it has got to the point that the only person people want to see Floyd in with is pac. No one else will cut it no matter how well it's promoted.

Floyd has to let the match happen or stop going on about how great he is, especially as he has claimed to be better than ali and SRR it's about time he showed us.

i don't know why this is even being discussed, it's already been brought up by Arum himself that the whole Mayweather asking for 60-40 was bullshit, it was a couple of guys from Manny's camp who don't know jack shit
