it was meant to be humerus, it was a joke based on the philosophical question.. "if a tree falls in a forest and there is no one around to hear it, dos it sill make a sound?"

I know, I understood that. You were demonstrating a 'spoonerism' or making an ironic play on the oft-quoted Zen Buddhist adage.

However, by actually getting your comment to my useless contribution, I have a double bluff irony ie an ironic comment that is not actually ironic, as I did provoke a comment and it is therefore literally true rather than irony.!!
