Decent episode again. Watching that makes me question Froch's will to win. You look at someone like Calzaghe who will really work to win no matter what, with Froch it's always like he is holding something back. He doesn't quite let it all go. It's a 3 punch combo and then time to sit back and admire his beltline. He doesn't adapt and does let rounds slip, but he doesn't need to do that and it makes me think that he has confidence issues. He hurt Kessler a number of times in that fight and kept stepping off the gas and conceding things.

It really is do or die for him against Abraham. If he keeps his head on straight he can work out a decision in that or even stop Abraham, but he just seems so negative to me. "It's in England or I pull out" etc. Quite worrying talk.

....don't throw things at me guys, but i think abraham beats froch's ass. But i'll also be one of the few people at the arena in a couple of weeks that thinks green will win too. So what do i know.

Yeah, I am not big on Froch and he doesn't help you like him. I have tried to like him but the latest 360 episode made took me back. Before his loss he stated that all the home guys won because that was the right guy. Acting like his fight with Dirrell was clear cut with no controversy. But when he lost a close decision it was only a lost because Kessler was home. He sees the homecooking when it works against him but not when it even more clearly worked for him.

I don't think you're saying anything absurd. Froch and Abraham can go both ways. But I think Abraham has to win by KO or hurt Froch early which I can very well see. I think this tournament really does give the "any guy can win" thrill. Although I do think Ward wins against Green I would only be shock if Green won by decision. Green knows he has to win to go onto the semifinals and Green knows he has little chance to win by decision. There are very few outcomes I would be shocked with in this tournament.

    Thanks for the link Skel,
360 is so much better than 24/7

That vid was very revealing . A class fight between two warriors but one was clearly a broken man after the decision was announced. Carl apologised to his missus, then the excuses started. He wanted to pull out the press con afterwards but Mcracken told him he better do it cuz there was nothing wrong with him. Then at the press con he said he would pull out the tournament if he doesnt get home advantage next time. His confidence has really been shattered beyond repair. Compare that with Kessler who was joking after the Ward fight and has come back like a true champ. Even Dirrell coped better. Carl seems to have taken defeat worst and he still isnt over it now.

What he needs is a morale booster and a comeback win but instead next up he meets one of the most deadly one punch KO artists in the sport. Carl will have never felt power like he will when he meets Arthur who has sent his last 3 opponents into casualty after the fight.

I know afew people who are like Carl who share similar character traits. Nice once you get to know them but they switch between seriousness and arrogance which is a front to cover their insecurities. Carls mask has totally been destroyed. He said himself after the fight "everything is going to be different now" Carl is more mentally fragile than he makes out.

Good to see Kess enjoying his success after the fight in the club with all the ladies. I think his spot in the finals is secure. In contrast Carl will be looking at retirement after the Abraham fight.

Game I agree mate, Froch seemed a broken man to me, with a kid on the way and he seems very loved up I don't no I sort of got the impression the hunger is not as it once was?? Maybe am a bit harsh but from him in the corner in the seventh saying he is tired to him coming out with the excuses, he just didn't seem the same guy, I think Abraham beats him up I said Froch at first but I have changed my mind after seeing this. Abraham stops him I think.

For all Crals bullshiit, after the fight, he asks McCracken if he did enough to win

Then he asks for anasthetic for his stitches and the doctor looks at him like hes a sissy girl

At the end, Kessler joking about Frochs slow uppercuts

Watching the fight again today, I have to say Kessler has slipped alot and he is lucky he aint fighting Dirrell in his last fight he would be whooped, Froch just didn't look right all through that. He is going out I think.

Froch is a whining little bitch. I want to see Abraham decapitate him.

Kessler's 1-2 used to be dynamite. It looks like he's throwing it underwater now.
