Pac's excuses were feeble, but this kind of drivel is feeble too. He didn't hint, he said flat out that he wouldn't fight for two more years. The finger goes both ways, they are both silly.

    I guess so .
If he is going to take a 2 year break he might as well just retire. Floyd has shown superb speed, footwork, defense, reflexes, counter punching, etc. Age is no athlete's best friend.

We shouldn't even be discussing this 2 year crap, he should be fighting Manny Pac period. Let's give it a while and see what happens. Hopefully it's not true, but Floyd is an idiot regardless. The man keeps on spouting his drivel, but no way he can turn down this payday.

I think you can discount anything either side is saying right now. They're just posturing and sparring via the media. The most significant thing that's happened recently is that the Nevada State Athletic Commission are holding some kind of hearing featuring the USADA drug testing people. They may be about to announce mandatory random testing for title fights. Maybe negotiations for the fight are further along than they're claiming.

I just can't imagine how BOTH OF THEM would turn down a fat paycheck. Floyd went throught the same drama when he was going to face ODLH until the fight was signed.

I will keep my fingers crossed for that to happen with or without Floyd in the picture. If that passes, I can see Pac retiring .

i wouldn't read that much into this two year retirement floyd is contemplating. now, as far as who is ducking who? seriously, do pacman fans really believe floydie is ducking pacquiao? these people are pretty much empty-heads but will believe anything their told. but as far as who is a prima donna? i think both pacquiao and mayweather are absolute idiots for playing these little tit for tat games and i think the public is getting tired of these girlie men!

Im pretty sure if anyone else had brought up retirement and wasn't Floyd people would be saying it was a ploy to get Pacquiao to take the drug tests because time is running out.

Like has been proven, Floyd isn't the one keeping the fight from happening, Pacquiao is trying to make changes to the drug testing as if he deserves different rules. So now that Mayweather has come out and saying he is gonna retire soon, if Pacquiao doesn't bite down the fight won't happen. Or at least thats what you're supposed to think.

You'd think after all the whoopla that's been surrounding this fight with different stories official stories hype etc that people would stop paying attention to it and just wait for the fight.

But as usual the people that don't like Floyd are the ones making all the threads about him so all the other people who don't like him can make their comments.
