I guess but to do so blatently would just make him look a fool....As for judges the promoters pay them but they have to adhere to a certain standard or else they have to answer to the state commission the one who give them the license to judge bouts...Of course there is always the slight nod (in some cases over nod) to the hometown or promoters fighter but that can be with any sport I guess
I'm not saying Steward would do it, just pointing out he is in a position to do it. Teddy Atlas is in the same position, as he is training Povetkin and is also an announcer. Again not saying he would do it, but he is in a position to do it.
Daxx, I'm asking this, because I honestly don't know what are the standards to choose judges? Specifically what is the qualification to be a licensed judge? I did some research before, but I didn't really get a definitive answer..
