USC football's in trouble

This is so bad that I almost feel bad for them. Not Kiffin though.

Just to put it in perspective, Alabama went on probation in 2002, and it was bad, very bad, ruined the program to some degree for a while (bad coaching hires didn't help) and that was 21 scholarships over 3 years.

This is pretty much the death penalty since they really won't use the actual death penalty anymore.

They are blaming this all on the rogue sports marketers and agents, but USC is the team that allowed these guys on the sidelines! Pete Carrol himself introduced some of these guys to his players. Bush was showed with 300 gs worth of stuff by guys who figured he would be there first client and they would break into the business, then he spurned them and signed with an agent who was more established. The whole culture was that of cheating.

Yeah most definitely, the guy wasn't taking disciplinary measures and it's official that the team was aware of the lurkers trolling the team. I didn't know at all and it is a bit of a shock to see that a team let it all happen willingly. Sad for them but it is much deserved.
