Do I seriously get to pick a prize? Because a $100 betting account sounds pretty sweet.

Well done CFH mate, another great competition, and I've finally broken the back of this game, made it into the top 10!

As for you retirement BG, would just like to say you've really put in a lot of work to setting up and running this game week by week, month and year. Not sure where you go after retiring from running this comp? Is there a statistician's retirement home where the former administrators of prediction competitions sit and discuss the stats of different games? If so mate, you've deserved your spot, and I'm sure we can sort out a naughty nurse in a saddoboxing tee shirt for you !

I'd like to thank BG for all his hard work and dedication as well. The Contest has been a fixture of Saddo's since I got here a few decades ago and it is one of the defining features of the site. BG obviously played a huge role in that and he deserves some recognition for it.

    Thanks fellas.

I'm suffering from Jermaine Taylor syndrome. Seriously, I'm afraid I'll number crunch myself to an early grave if I keep at it.

It became obvious to me when I failed to update the leaderboard a few times that I was no longer fit to run this thing. Weekly scoring errors were suddenly common occurrences.

Also, only a few of the original castmembers still played the game. When 15 people make up a contest that used to pull in 40 easy, it's either run it's course or has become a disgrace.

I enjoyed it most of the time and part of me certainly feels like I dropped the ball. Still, I don't think I could muster the courage to do it again.

I'm not leaving the site though and that is what matters most.

I don't think that's a reflection of the Contest, the site is just slower than it used to be.
