I don't think Barrera is stopping anyone at the weight, but that's his first fight in an age. Just a testing out warm up fight. He's 36 and will box his way to a win rather than go for broke looking for blood. I'm quite okay with that. He can build on this next time out and then maybe go for a belt. The first 3 rounds here were feel out rounds which he took easily enough and from that point he gradually upped the work rate. It wasn't a spectacular performance, but it was a proffesional one. You can't do more than win every round, you aren't always going to get a stoppage.
I'm quite satisfied with the performance and hope to see him again in the fall.
