There are Techniques to improve balance and perception, the main one is good posture. As ive said before Oral stability is a main player, what you are trying to avoid has already happened. Understanding what the movement before is takes time.

Also scrap.. when you mention posture.. are u referring to an individuals posture in general.. or are you talking strictly about having good posture in boxing.
Either ways, what would constitute as good posture in boxing? Head aligned with coccyx?
btw.. forgive me for my ignorance
im sorry, are you supposed to close both eyes? or just the non-dominant one? -- this is pretty wise stuff, thanks
Shut both eyes, eliminate the sense.

Scrap, when you suggest, shadow boxing with your eyes closed, do you suggest slowly focusing and keeping your mind on your technique and really just feeling out what your other senses are telling you.. and slowly speed yourself up as you feel comfortable up until your being able to shadowbox at 100% speed blinded?
btw.. i'm taking your advice, I'm not going to be doing these blinded exercises just yet.. I'm asking out of curiosity and for future reference.
Thats it, do it somewhere thats safe, you know what I mean by that![]()
