I really don't see how floyd got it...because how can it be for this year when the year isn't over?

And no one certainly can say he deserves it over pac from last year....

He beat shane mosley, a man pac avoided. He didn't need to weight drain him like pacs done with recent opponants, he had the biggest PPV sales with that fight and on top of that he undeniably proved he's a clean legit athlete.

But the year isnt over and if pac fights again against margarito or cotto at 154, then that would certainly shit on PBF award...

don't see how beating the guy that Mosley already had whooped, and the guy that Pacquiao himself already has a win over, beats Mayweather's win over Mosley

That will give Pac two fights this year vs one for floyd... And just because Mosely beat margarito doesn't mean anything. Pac and Mosley are different and that size advantage would be something to see pac deal with.

And the SSM v PBf fight was floyd fighting an inactive over trained guy that looked good 18months ago. Pac moving up to 154 to fight cotto again, would be a hard sell but in the eyes of the people that vote for those awards, he will have eight division titles if he were to win. And loss or not, if pac beats Margaritio that would def shit on Floyd....

maybe in your little head but i'm pretty damn sure that the vast majority see a win over Margarito meaning jack shit, especially how awful he looked the last time out, Mosley already completely wrecked Margarito, and it's the same Mosley that Pacquiao wouldn't fight

If you say so....I know a lot of that is because you were either a huge cotto guy or a margarito guy and it hurt your feelings that he beat the shit out of cotto which made you hate him, then if he was actually your guy and found out he was a cheater it hurt your feelings again...sorry about that but double edge sword. too bad. Then its littered with pac hate because he smashed the shit out of morrales....

But the mosley that fought and beat margarito was long gone before PBF faced him. Yeah floyd fought him, but not until they carefully made sure shane was inactive and overtrained. All of that is irrelevant because beating to two contending fighters is still better than beating one which is what pac will have done if he fights and wins later this year.

this is award is given based on popular public vote...and really what the fuck does the general public know about boxing anyway?

you can't give a fighter of the year prize away to someone who fought one fight all year. (unless, of course, there was only one fight that year.)

yea that must be it , sorry the truth is Margarito is utter shit without tampered wraps and it showed in his last fight, and i don't take fighter's losses to heart like you seem to do, your still making excuses as to why Hopkins/Jones II doesn't count , the Mosley that fought Mayweather was the same Mosley Pacquiao refused to fight, if you wanna go and make excuses as to why he got his ass handed to him go ahead it makes no difference, and while you're on your crusade to get people to spell correctly take your own advice dude cause Morales doesn't have a double r

i don't know but i think margarito looked really good in his last fight against roberto garcia. he's improved his defense and uses his jab more effectively. with his new trainer, roberto garcia from la colonia boxing club in oxnard, ca., he's going to get even better and might post a serious threat to many welters and jr. middles.

yea don't know what fight you were watching, he landed everything but the kitchen sink on the tomato can and barely managed to even wobble the guy, i'd go far enough to say that Chavez Jr, Collazo, Clottey (in a rematch), Quintana, and even Spinks all beat Margarito, much less the elite level

didnt margarito all ready beat clottey, cintron, and smash cotto to bits without wraps? Yes i think so... Only an idiot would even mention RJJ/BHOP II in regards to having any relevance in boxing. And I havent mention that fight once since it happened, so what the hell are you talking about....And who's making excuses, is it not a fact that shane was inactive? I think its you along with that pacman photo on your sig that speaks volumes as who's making excuses. You believe a man that smashed the shit out of your guy must have cheated, why not add Raheem and Barrera to that. Margarito was caught before he cheated so he didnt even get a chance to use his wraps, and didnt need them to kick cotto's ass as you saw. Now you go tell yourself that PAC and MARGO need to cheat in order to beat the guys you like so you can sleep at night.

And as far as the spelling post from an entirely different thread (ease back with the stalking) That was a harmless joke against another poster as i playing off of what he did to someone else. And as far as Morrrrales goes, I could give a shit how he spells his name.

Didnt he scored a Kd plus win virtually every round? You hope he's washed up so that he doesn't get to smash cotto again and you don't want him to make anymore money because he hurt your feelings....

i was actually very impressed with margarito's performance that night, considering he was fighting as a jr. middleweight and had been away for 18 months or so from the ring. he showed a new element that he hadn't shown before. better head movement, nice jab, overall defense etc...i don't know what morales was seeing when he saw margarito's fight but maybe he only sees what he wants to see. truth is this, margarito owns cintron AND cotto. cotto wants no part of the tijuana tornado and so his fans have to accuse margarito of having his hands illegally wrapped. nice try but weak argument!
