well it won't be because of Montiel seeing how he's the only one out of the two taking on live opponents and actual threats to his title, unlike Donaire did against the bum that was Marquez and company

riiiight! oh didn't donaire faced the same fighter a few fights ago?

didn't the same guy take Donaire the distance? and didn't Montiel just knock Hasegawa the fuck out, and doesn't he have a win over Gorres?

and yea Donaire is taking on all comers...riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!

i have great respect for montiel and his fight record speaks for itself especially with his performance of late, but donaire has always wanted to fight the top guys and you can find more than a half dozen articles on this with him calling them out. the problem is nobody seems to want to face him, with morel the last to turn him down.

i just hope this fight with montiel pushes through because it's going to be a good one for sure.
