Never mind that the guy should've been suspended for life.... how do you come back from a year-long suspension, fight an obscure opponent in Mexico, and all of a sudden get penciled in for a championship fight with the world's top fighter?

Sorry for venting, but this is BEYOND ridiculous. It's ludicrous!! Boxing takes two steps forward, then takes three or four steps back. No wonder we've lost fan base over the years. In addition to the alphabet titles, the inept judges, the shady promoters, the lousy matchmaking, the posturing primadonna fighters (yes... Yes, I'm pretty ticked off. And if the fight DOES happen, I'm going to pray every single day from here to fight time that Pacquiao lands the same left on Marga-scumbag that he landed on Hatton. Either that, or slowly and gradually turn his face into ground beef over the full 12 rounds, so that Marga-jackass can find himself another career.

glad for margarito! at 154, he's going to be much stronger than at welter. now he won't have to weaken himself to get down that low. i see this fight as a great fight with margarito rightfully winning. he's paid his dues and deserves this opportunity. pacquiao at 154 won't be as fast and won't be as powerful. i pick margarito by late TKO as he'll wear down pacquiao and win going away.

Sorry but the thread starter misread the Revelations. Pacquiao fighting Margarito IS NOT a sign of the Apocalypse. The sign of the Apocalyse is Mayweather fighting Pacquiao.

contracts haven't been signed yet so the door is still slightly open for other possibilities. although this will be a good scrap but to what end? williams, berto, bradley, i even prefer a final fight with jmm at 140 to this.
