Its because Margarito along with Cotto are the only opponents that wont ask for random testing because they are Arum fighters.

No doubt the promoter is a major factor in setting conditions for accepting a fight, but.......

Margarito asking for random testing? Please. He could be promoted by Mother Theresa and would still be in no position to ask for ANY conditions. That would be a bit like Don King requesting a criminal background check on fighters before he agreed to promote them. Marga-cheato is in no position to ask for JACK. On the contrary, he should be so grateful he's getting handed a free pass to a championship fight, HE'S the one who would probably agree to any conditions Pacquiao's camp wants to impose.

Cotto, on the other hand, routinely removes himself from everything except preparing for the fight itself. No posturing, no grandstanding, in short..... no "Mayweathering".

This is horribly wrong for boxing. The guys commits the worse cheat in all of sports and will get rewarded with a record payday. What did the suspension do? He will make up any money, and more, he lost sitting idle for that year. I don't wish an ill will on anyone in the ring no matter what so I can only just hope Pac KOs the worst cheat in the sport. I like Pac but I will not support Margarito at all so I will not buy this one or anything with Margarito in it.

Never mind that the guy should've been suspended for life.... how do you come back from a year-long suspension, fight an obscure opponent in Mexico, and all of a sudden get penciled in for a championship fight with the world's top fighter?

Sorry for venting, but this is BEYOND ridiculous. It's ludicrous!! Boxing takes two steps forward, then takes three or four steps back. No wonder we've lost fan base over the years. In addition to the alphabet titles, the inept judges, the shady promoters, the lousy matchmaking, the posturing primadonna fighters (yes... Yes, I'm pretty ticked off. And if the fight DOES happen, I'm going to pray every single day from here to fight time that Pacquiao lands the same left on Marga-scumbag that he landed on Hatton. glad for margarito! at 154, he's going to be much stronger than at welter. now he won't have to weaken himself to get down that low. i see this fight as a great fight with margarito rightfully winning. he's paid his dues and deserves this opportunity. pacquiao at 154 won't be as fast and won't be as powerful. i pick margarito by late TKO as he'll wear down pacquiao and win going away.

I never pay for any fights i haven't for years, i just think its pointless. With all the streams and download links, unless your going there live to watch it. I don't see the point in spending any money at all.
