I think you're slightly confused over the meaning of the words bum and chump... either that or you are just trolling...

P4P Zab Judah is better than Clinton Woods in most departments...

Zab is a chump and Clinton isn't... Clinton always takes the biggest fights, fights often and is always improving his game... he is a pure, no bullshit boxer...
Your the confused one. I called you a chump, not Woods.

Let me get this straight, a man with decent but not exeptional skills, who wins a world title the proper way and defends against fighters he isnt supposed to beat, is a bum?

Is that what your saying, or do you mean you just dont rate him that highly?

he has certainly got enuff skills
to make for a hell of a fight
it wont be boring on the contrary
and i even think he stands a chance
he also knows if he loses this one
theyre wont be a lot of chances left
so he will probably go all out

People are being a bit judgemental when it comes to Woods. He's improved a great deal physically and mentally, and would destroy the version of himself that lost to Roy Jones. I expect him to get a UD over Johnson

Although I would like to see the guy eat some steak, he's still looks frail

Well, to start off it's bloody great news that Woods/Johnson is going to be in Britain, and hopefully on regular no money down tv.

As to the debate that Clinton Woods is a bum. I'm going to back our good old northern boy on this one, as he has gone into each fight the best that he can, and when he isn't good enough to beat a guy, he's picked himself up, learnt his lessons, and gone on to better his game. Isn't that all you can ask from a boxer. He didn't start till late as a pro boxer, so he's obviously not going to have the natural instincts of someone who'd been fighting since he was a sprog. Fair play to him for getting the title, and I truly think that he'll have the beating of Johnson this time out, with more maturity and smarts than the past meetings.

whats with all the hostility!!!! The facts are that Glen Johnson is 1-0-1 against Woods.....Woods has improved.....but does that mean you can automatically state that Woods is going to beat Johnson?....I mean he has made Johnson wait(age) and now thinks it's time to capitalize....any longer and a win over an aging Johnson will have no merit....but he hasn't WON yet.....
It feels good to be back home.

you need to re-read the thread...

I don't remember saying that Wood's is going to win (I think he is going to but that's besides the point)

All I said is that he is not a bum...
