i loved the days when there were two world champions, WBC and WBA. whenever there was a unification fight between both champions, it was fun and intriguing. i would also definitely clean up all the corruption in boxing like those idiot judges. some of those judges have absolutely knowledge or are just paid off by those corrupt promoters.

I would institute a way that would force top fighters to fight each other. F*ck shady promoters and their personal agendas. F*ck the inane posturing on which Floyd has a PhD. F*ck the million excuses why two top fighters can never meet. Baseball has playoffs. Football has playoffs. Basketball has playoffs. Tennis has seedings and brackets.

I'm sure the brilliant minds of boxing can conjure up a way to make top fighters meet in the ring. Hey, I'm all for building up to a fight between two greats. But it's a little like watching a batter step off the plate, adjust his gloves, his cup, tap his bat against his cleats, look at the 3rd base coach, adjust his gloves again, spit, etc, etc, etc. After the first two or three minutes, it starts to get old.

I would change championship fights back to 15 rounds. They eliminated some unworthy champions. Leonard could not beat Hearns in a 12 round fight but 15 round is a different story. Bernard Hopkins would have beat Taylor. Rounds 13,14 and 15 were the true championship rounds. Hagler would have beat Leonard. I do understand the health problems involved but I respected those last 3 rounds. Duran was a monster during those rounds. It would eliminated alot of garbage champions we have now.
