What do the great ones do?
They come back.I heard a good quote recently, forgot who said it. Boxing is a jealous sport if you dont treat it right it will turn on you.

Never mind Youngblood, at least your rationalising the defeat in a way that would make Trainer Monkey himself proud
So I guess this means ICB is Saddo's only undefeated amatuer now?
How quickly you have fallen.......![]()

There is a big difference between how the great TM and myself operate. Firstly, he was a team of one. So his loss fell squarely on his shoulders, and it may have been too big of a burden to carry. Hence the breakdown. Whereas I on the other hand, have a team of many.
Let's meet them, shall we?
for starters, the central figure, me...in robe to clearly define my athletic prowess, flanked by my 2 main team members. Manager and special personal negotiator/adviser.
A good manager and trainer are an important and integral part of a fighters career. Mine usually work well together.
My trainer, maybe of mexican decent, maybe phillipino. the fact is, we aren`t sure and neither is he. But he is my trainer and ready to do whatever it takes to prepare me.
Next, my manager. Having not just a waning interest in profiteering, has read and studied. learned to dress the part. Image sometimes is everything.

To function as a good team, sometimes you require a specialist to be brought in. My manager recognized this and hired a conditioning coach. Meet my conditioning coach.
And we even have a driver. Although he isn`t under contract yet, we still have him available.
So you see Bilbo? The difference?
I take great offense to you suggesting I am rationalizing MY first loss. As It wasn`t just mine. It was equally spread amongst my competent team of many. Somewhere the chain was weak, but we will go back to the drawing board. and fixed it shall be.

haha it's quite the entourage you have YB. I think with CutMeMick Jr in your corner you have a trainer who surely knows his stuff, I'd hold on to him.
Judging from his dress and appearance I'm guessing your manager/promoter is from the Goodson family line? I'd get rid of him and bring someone with a bit more respectability and competence into your team, he obviously messed it up for you.
To be fair though, to get DQ'd is no bad thing, it's actually quite badass, like they had to ban you for being too rough for an amatuer sport or something and manhandling your overmatched schoolboy opponent.
As Big H said earlier, you're still my hero buddy, the way you sparked that MMA douche inside 10 seconds a few months back was legendary. And if you think about most of the great pro's got robbed of some amatuer fights, Roy of his Gold Medal, Joe Calzaghe by a ref who was also his opponents dad. I think a robbery in the amatuers is a status sign, a portent of good things to come, so I wouldn't sweat it.
It does seem you've had some frustrations of late though, I remember your last opponent not turning up at the last second as well. Hopefully they can feed you a Kid Thunder style opponent next just to take your frustrations out on him a bit![]()
