1- Tyson
2- Ali
3- Louis
4- Frasier
5- Marciano
6- Foreman
7- Holmes
8- Lewis
9- Holyfield
10- Klitschko (I think Vitali at his best was better than Wlad)
I can only really do from the 1940 ish onwards as I just can't judge before that. Other than stats and the odd highlight, I just don't know enough about people like Jack Johnson.
I've based it not on records, but on absolute prime and how they would have faired when at their very best. E.g- Holyfield beat Tyson twice, but still wasn't better than him on his best day.
Many will probably disagree with a few, but I think that on his best day, Tyson would murder anyone. As much as I dislike him, a Vitali on his very best day would have been tough for any of the greats.
Marciano wa sprobably the only one who swayed me to put him in there on merit. I've seen less of his fights than anyone elses.
ELkabong I agree with everyone except Riddick Bowe who should stay right where he is but if Sonny wasn't in Jail and punching out cops he might have had the title sooner. Sonny never saw a jail he didn't like. Nice thread keep them coming.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Hard to argue too much with your first nine...while there would be some debate, no one would fault you for listing those nine.
Bowe, however, doesn't even make the top twenty -- IMHO. Off the top of my head, people who definitely belong over Bowe include Gene Tunney (who is one of only three heavies, I think, to beat everyone he faced -- Marciano and Lennox Lewis were the others), Vitali Klitschko and probably Wladimir Klitschko -- assuming he doesn't lose any more fights by the end of his career. The Klitschko bros. are the Larry Holmes of their day. They won't garner the respect they deserve until they retire.
Just my opinion, take it or leave it. Fun stuff.

The iron was the greatest heavy weight if not for those ear biting he made.
