Hey man speak for yourself I am a Lacy fan and so what he lost.....There was no shame in Losing to Calzaghe,Lacy will be back and will see how he recovers...Plenty greats have been beaten and lived to fight another day so I wish people will chill on Lacy already..

Truth is he will have to start over and string some impressive wins together before he gets elevated again...Thae kids humble and he has alot of heart he has great days still to come in Boxing!!!!

I am proud of Lacy.....I picked Calzaghe to win but I am still proud of him....He fought a great fighter....whats the shame in losing to Calzaghe?.....why bring up old a** topics......afraid that Joe C is done for good?.....already going to the "Remember When" bag?

I am proud of Lacy too beeing able to withstand all of those shots - I were just tired of being said KO3 Lacy as I have been with Lacy for years in the amateurs knowing that he will never break top 10 - yes, in the american mind he will be p4p no. 1 - but for all who knows boxing he will never be anything special as he always looses when he steps outside US

This guy Royal, I mean An American has problems. I don't know why he is so frustrated, lack of women (or men), too much liquor (or not enough liquor), heroin, no body to love him, or maybe you just a nutcase for the fun of it, who knows.

There are alot of terms on this site I do not understand, I guess it's a cultural thing, but I had the forum member "X" tell me that one of my threads was bollocks, can someone tell me what the hell that means, I am assuming it means bullshit.

Thanks I am a fan only...LOL!!! I am aware of Lacy's defecienties and just hopeing he will have it in him to make adjustments he was mediocre at best against Calzaghe....I have been following him for quite a few years before anyone knew who he was and I just loved to see the ferocious punching power but you cant get by on just that..

    1) Jab
    2) headmovement
    3) defensive improvements
    4) refine boxing skills

He will be fine, time will tell ultimately

I guess that we are back to talking about Super Middles again....

Here are some opinions of mine on this division...

Well, JC will be there for a while...He is stronger than he looks and not afraid of anyone that wants to test him on that fact...

Lacy, well, I think he would be much better off fighting at Middle(Though I wouldnt recomend) or even take a chance at Light heavy...His speed is a little off for Super Middles atm....

Alan Green....All I can say about this guy is this, He is strong, He is fast and last but not least, he has POWER!!! Super Middles, take heed, this is the way you are supposed to be at this weight class.....10 more fights for this guy and I feel he will be all you hear about in this division...

Mikkel Kessler....Well, if he didnt fight 98% of his fights in Denmark and maybe if he would add a few notable wins to his record, maybe,,,,But I would not bet on him right at this moment...

ALSO, alot of his fights were at Middle, so I would like to see more at super-middle with notable wins...

As for Manfredo....I am not even going back to the discussion about this kid....

Here is the way you test Manfredo...Put him in with Lacy...Then Alan Green...And if he makes it past them, give him a shot at JC....

As for any other solid prospects in the Super Middle class,,,I just dont see any....

I think Carl Froch would beat Kessler and Manfredo.

    And no i aint kidding.

Kessler is a pumped-up light middle (thats where 15+ wins came from)

Wheras Manfredo should stick to middle as i believe he aint big enough to mix it with the bigger boys.

Manfredo is what, 5'9" - wheras Froch and Kessler are 6'1"

    Jean Pascal
    Nationality Haiti
    Hometown Laval, QC, Canada
    Rated at Super Middleweight
    World Rank 22 / 767
    Age 23
    Height 5' 11

He made me ill last night on ESPN2. Once Pascal felt safe in the ring he started to belittle Boone. Sticking his tounge out. Shrugging his shoulders with a "is this all you got" look on his face and then unexpectedly (he thought) throwing a punch at Boone.

The fight went the distance of course. All that showboating was pointless.

Pascal might be the next big thing, but I hope he gets flattened one fine day.
And Boone took that fight on 3 days notice, it showed!!
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Kessler did fight The Ring`s #3 abroad and won very easily - it was his very first defence so do not say that he is not ready to fight abroad. When he defeated Siaca it was not his fight - he took the fight with 9 days notices as Mads Larsen, his senior ranked partner, got injured in the US working with McGirt.
