SADDOBOXING OFFICIAL RATINGS – As of August 24, 2010
HEAVYWEIGHT:
Alexander Dimitrenko is verified to stay in the pool.
CRUISERWEIGHT:
Steve Herelius enters at 9 after his victory over former rated Firat Arslan. Danny Green enters at 10 with his blow-out of Paul Briggs. Guillermo Jones is removed from the pool due to inactivity. Matt Godfrey is removed from the pool after being stopped in 5 by current #2 Marco Huck.
LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT:
Jean Pascal wins the championship from Chad Dawson & is elevated to the top of the division. Dawson drops a slot to 1st. Hopkins moves down to 2nd & Tavoris Cloud is now 3rd thanks to his victory over Glen Johnson who settles at 4.
SUPER-MIDDLEWEIGHT:
Jean Paul Mendy enters the pool with his disqualification win over pool member Sakio Bika. Dimitri Sartison enters the pool with victory over previously ranked 160 pounder Khoren Gevor.
MIDDLEWEIGHT:
Khoren Gevor previously 4th is moved to the pool after a year’s inactivity & then a loss to Dimitri Sartison at 168. Dmitry Pirog jumps from the pool to number 9 after his stunning KO of previously unbeaten Daniel Jacobs. Jacobs exits the pool. Glennady Glovokin is in at 10.
LIGHT-MIDDLEWEIGHT:
Previously unrated Cornelius Bundrage rockets into 2nd with his 5th round stoppage of Cory Spinks. Spinks is moved to the pool due to over a year’s inactivity leading up to this loss.
WELTERWEIGHT:
Ashley Theophane enters the pool with his controversial win over pool member Delvin Rodriguez. Vyacheslav Senchenko enters the pool.
LIGHTWEIGHT:
Juan Diaz (formerly 10tth) exits to the pool after being defeated again by #1 Marquez. Jorge Linares (#6 at 130) fills the vacancy left at 10 with his victory over 126 pound pool member Rocky Juarez. Robert Guerrero previously #1 at 130 enters the pool as 2 of his last 3 fights have been at this weight & the 3rd being at 140.
SUPER-FEATHERWEIGHT:
Robert Guerrero (previously 1st) is moved to the lightweight pool as he has not fought at this weight in a year. Everyone rated 2 – 10 previously moves up a space and Jorge Solis moves into 10th from the pool. Miguel Piedras enters the pool as does former 126 pound pool member Takahiro Aoh who is now campaigning at this weight.
FEATHERWEIGHT:
Bernabe Concepcion is removed from the pool after being dispatched in 2 rounds by current #1 Juan Manuel Lopez. Rocky Juarez also exits the pool after another loss, this one at the lightweight limit to Jorge Linares (6 at 130). Undefeated Mikey Garcia enters the pool. The upcoming bout between pool member Jhonny Gonzalez and unrated Jackson Asiku will fill the vacant 10th spot.
BANTAMWEIGHT:
Previously unranked Malcolm Tunacao enters at 8 after handing Kohei Oba his 1st lost. Oba falls one spot to 9th. Alexander Bakhtin is pushed down to 10th while William Gonzalez is squeezed out of the ratings into the pool.
SUPER-FLYWEIGHT:
Juan Alberto Rosas crashes the ratings at 3rd after an upset stoppage over the man who previously held that spot Simphiwe Nongqayi. Nongqayi tumbles 3 spots to 6th. Jorge Arce, Kohei Kono & Nonito Donaire all move down a spot. Drian Francisco previously 10th advances a spot over Marvin Sonsona who was demoted by manager vote but now exits to the pool with Rosas’ entrance.
FLYWEIGHT:
Hernan Marquez (formerly 8th) is moved to the pool at 112 after his second straight loss at Super-Fly. This recent loss coming against Nontio Donaire (8th at Super-Fly). Edren Dapudong & Hiroyuki Hisataka enter the ratings at 9th & 10th respectively to fill the vacancies. Cesar Seda Jr. enters the pool.
LIGHT-FLYWEIGHT:
Ramon Garcia Hirales is in at 10 after his victory over previously unbeaten Johnriel Casmiro. Casmiro formerly 10th is forced into the pool. Hekkie Budler enters the pool.
