Just tried to call carl's brother. He was in ASDA at the time doing the weekly shop, and didn't have his pen or scrap of paper handy. He said call him back at a more convieniant time.

On the Premier Sports Facebook page (I despise Facebook but you don't have to be a member to view their page) they posted the following:

It is hard for me to speculate on Boxing too much. We are looking into it for sure. What you may not realise is that boxing promoters still live in the good times and forget we are in a recession!

Wasn't Hennessy supposed to have turned down £300,000 from ITV to show Froch at two in the morning? So obviously I have no idea what TV deal-less promoters they could be talking about here.

If Froch had gone with Warren years ago this fight with Abraham would be at Nottingham Forest ground sell out on Sky PPV with the nation talking about it, but instead no one knows who Carl Froch is out of boxing circles even though he is one of the most exciting fighters the world at the moment.
