man thats bad, hopefully he will be ok, seems like a really decent guy & still has a lot to offer the boxing world.

Sure hope this is just a rumor! Definitely wouldn't like to see him go out like this, and would like to see him fight ward again at some point, definitely don't think that was the best kessler that night. Not saying he would beat ward in a rematch but think he can do a lot better. So yeah let it be just a rumor.

Kessler is 31. May be in his prime or just passed it. After another year off due to the injury, he may have missed the best time of his career especially coming off his biggest victory, against Froch. Big time bummer for him. Sucks for the tournament.Originally Posted by skel1983
