I disagree. I have no boxing ability, but through smarts, theatrics and pure cowardice I am convinced I could survive the first round. I would no doubt go the way of Ricky Hatton in the second though as I would be knackered. At no point would I try to fight the first round like Ricky Hatton, but everyone would be booing me in my attempts at survival no matter what.

For sure, I would make absolutely no effort to engage the man. My smarts, theatrics and cowardice means basically running around the ring like a headless chicken and going all Bernard Hopkins to buy time. Nobody would want to see that really. Might look good on You Tube, but sure not worth the 50 dollars PPV.
