R. Marquez Vs Lopez re-scheduled for November 6th

Marquez is past it, and Lopez with mow through him like he has through so many others. I just see this as a stylistic nightmare for a guy who gets hit flush that easily (Marquez). It could be a little hard to gauge since Marquez has been fighting one guy for 2 years, but I think Lopez is too quick to fall into Marquez' traps. Have to admit Lopez ring intelligence has gone up a lot, too.

Lopez is probably looking past this fight as much as I am. I think a unification is in order with Chris John after this. That could be a really good fight.

Juanma by KO in 7th. His unnatural southpaw stance will give Rafa some problems.

i think rafael marquez has just a puncher's chance in this one. i see this as a big mismatch! he's way past his prime but can still punch which will give him a slim chance. juanma is just too big, too young, too fast and too fresh. juanma by early KO.

Good fight and ultimate crossroads. 5 or 6 rounds over last 2 yrs does Marquez no favors but think he's being a bit under sold. Lopez is not exactly hard to find with punches himself when he over sells to land and Marquez is smart and I think still capable enough to navigate his early explosions if he keeps smart. He's a accurate puncher and Lopez has holes.

Marquez wasn't about to let Lopez fight somebody else. He pretty much forced his hand by saying he'll continue training and all he needed it was about a month. Lopez was extremely lucky his knock down at the hands of crap fighter Concepion came at the end of the round. He'll find out Marquez ain't Concepcion. Marquez takes him out in 4

If Lopez adjusts his training regimen accordingly to compensate for the delay in the fight, he should beat Marquez handily. Hopefully he's learned not to get too eager in going for the kill, like he did against Concepcion, and get caught with a desperation punch.

this fight favors juanma because of his overall boxing ability but it would be foolish to dismiss marquez as an easy fight. like i've said before, nothing is a given in boxing. marquez' best hope is too win by an early KO because as the fight progresses, i believe he will wear down due to his age and relative inactivity in the last two years. this fight has the makings of a scorcher while it lasts.
