This is a surefire FOTY candidate. I'm sure I'm in a very small minority, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Katsidis pull off the upset. Marquez was hurt by Diaz in the first fight and ran out of gas in the second, and Katsidis hits harder and puts on more pressure than Diaz.
Katsidis, could pull the upset but its unlikely unless he hurts Marquez and is able to finish the job.
Katsidis if he doesn't want to be countered around 4 corners of steel, he would have to box but he isnt outboxing Marquez, all he can do is go to the body early and hope it pays off late.

You really think he gassed in 2nd? Just didn't see that. Thought he controlled throughout and dictated. Was a tad anti climactic he didn't take Diaz out given spectacular finish 1st time, but gassed?
Love him getting back to 135. Awesome match and Kats always brings it strong but see Marquez dissecting him as it goes,Inside and outside JMM too sharp....lumpy bumpy and bruised badly.

Jolly good, a nice matchup.
This is a battle between two bleeders, but one is more technically accomplished and the other hits harder. I think it boils down to who can stop who or who gets damaged the most quickly.
I give Marquez the edge on experience and better skill set, but Katsidis is a dangerous underdog.

This will be FOTY no doubt.

here's the thing about this fight, katsidis isn't much of a boxer and only relies on his pressuring style. i also believe his chin is suspect (casamayor KO) and his power is a little overrated. never has he faced a complete boxer like marquez and it's going to show. in the marquez/diaz II fight, marquez virtually pitched a shutout and i think diaz is a much better boxer than katsidis.
