As for Hornfinger, even I was suspicious of Pac when he refused the drug testing first time out, but there can be no doubting who bitched out of the last proposed matchup. Mayweather didn't even try to make the fight after Manny agreed to everything. As has been pointed out by Skel, Mayweather pretty much contradicted himself in the video too.

This kind of nonsense is just making Mayweather look really bad. The bitch talking after fights with rivals are made and the so called 'retirements' are a hoax to try and evade the fact that Mayweather has holes in his resume. The trouble is that it has all worn thin and isn't fooling any but the most deluded anymore.

I think Mayweather is a great fighter and he would start the fight as favourite but he had his little sabbatical after the Hatton fight when Cotto and Margorito were hot news and fights the world wanted to see now he is taking another break when he is on paper the hardest fight of his life.

Agreed Skel, I can't stand Mayweather but can respect the skills he brings. He certainly knows when to skulk away and when to come out with his fighting talk though. It's all very calculated and even when he does fight, far too calculated. Hatton at WW where he has no track record. Marquez at WW where he has no track record. A Mosley who simply hadn't fought for 2 years himself. And then suddenly time to announce a long break and still come out bitching against Manny?

The man is all that is wrong with boxing today IMO. He became far too big for his own boots and simply refuses to walk the walk. It's one big ego trip and a whole lot of empty nonsense about who has the biggest bank balance. You will get the fanboys saying "well if you don't like floyd then why do you keep talking about him?". I keep talking about him because I want it on the record what I as a boxing fan actually think of Floyd Mayweather. Some people, for some bizarre reason actually listen to his and his supporters nonsense.

The fight should have been made this last time out. There was no reason why it couldn't have happened. Both fighters were supposedly on that colliding trajectory, but nothing at all happened. And for Mayweather to carry on running his mouth is an insult to boxing. How he can come out with this tirade of dribble after Manny has signed up for his next fight is beyond me.
