Nothing has warranted that kid to be an elite. He's still young and pretty crude. He is completely gun shy in fighting punchers with <33% KO ratios. He just hasn't had the fights to support the logic of him being an elite. An elite for the UK? Yes.. World? I don't think so.

He does have an elite trainer. (I'm pretty sure hornfinger is about to jump in and put something in this thread about Pacquiao is a cheat, because I mentioned Freddy Roach)

Even if he KO1 Maidana in this fight, Khan is not an elite. It takes more than just 2 wins over top 10 divisional guys.
