R. Marquez Vs Lopez re-scheduled for November 6th

If Lopez adjusts his training regimen accordingly to compensate for the delay in the fight, he should beat Marquez handily. Hopefully he's learned not to get too eager in going for the kill, like he did against Concepcion, and get caught with a desperation punch.

this fight favors juanma because of his overall boxing ability but it would be foolish to dismiss marquez as an easy fight. like i've said before, nothing is a given in boxing. marquez' best hope is too win by an early KO because as the fight progresses, i believe he will wear down due to his age and relative inactivity in the last two years. this fight has the makings of a scorcher while it lasts.

Lopez best bet is go to for the early stoppage. Cuz I can't see him winning if it goes pass 3 or 4. Lopez gets rattled and panics to a point when he can't get his opponent out of there right away. It happened in the Penalosa fight, the Lontchi fight and obviously the Mtagwa fight. Lopez is easy to frustrate. And when he's frustrated he gets reckless. And that's exactly what Marquez wants. i agree that if Marquez catches him like Concepcion did that he'll have Lopez in a hell of a lot of trouble and probably stop him, but i also think that Lopez knows damned well that Marquez is a tougher opponent than Concepcion, also Rafa has been a lot easier to hit since his fights with Vazquez and Lopez hits a lot harder than Vazquez, i agree that Rafa's best chance is to try and counter him early on and stop him, but he still has to be careful not to get caught with either hand

if you break down both guys styles their not too different, but have great lead hooks, powerful straight hand, good with uppercuts, and great counter punching, only difference is well one fighter is conventional and the other a southpaw. the more i think about it the more interesting the fight gets
