Who said this fight was a robbery ? i don't think i've ever seen anyone on this forum claim it was a robbery, i made a thread years ago. Asking was it a robbery. Because i hadn't seen it at that time, and pretty much most people believed it was a close Junior Jones win.

Again this was a pretty easy fight to score IMO, the only swing round was the 1st round. When both boxers were cautious and just getting warmed up, and hardly any punches were landed. I think you could call that an even round, but i thought Junior Jones edged it.

But other than that it was an easy fight to score, MAB won most of the early rounds. By fighting a smarter defensive fight, but when he needed to put his foot on the gas pedal in the later rounds, he didn't do it.

And Junior Jones worked his ass off in the later rounds, and won a very close decision. I mean as many people have said before, points wise it was pretty close. But if you watch the fight without scoring it, its clear to me who won if that makes sense.

Plus MAB had a point deducted which was a 10-8 round against him, he simply didn't do enough work when he needed to IMO, here's my old scorecard.

1 Jones
2 Barrera
3 Barrera
4 Barrera
5 Barrera
6 Barrera
7 Jones
8 Jones
9 Jones 10-8
10 Jones
11 Jones
12 Barrera

114-113 Jones
